MOISTURE EMISSIONS TESTING ASTM 1869 or ASTM 2170

All of our technicians use Tramex Moisture Meters, Scanners, Data Loggers, and the newest Hygro-i2 probes. We are trained and certified through Flooring Consultants and Inspection Training Services (FCITS), and are up to date with all the current concrete testing procedures. For most testing, ASTM standards require 3 tests for the first 1,000 square feet and 1 additional test for every 1,000 square feet thereafter.

ASTM F-2170-02 In Situ Testing Method for Concrete Relative Humidity Includes:
4 - 10 tests = $150.00 per test + mileage
11 - 20 tests = $125.00 per test + mileage
21 + tests = $100.00 per test + mileage

  • RH test (ASTM F-2170)
  • PH test (ASTM F-710)
  • Air space temperature and humidity
  • Infrared thermometer readings of the concrete

ASTM F-1869-04 Anhydrous Calcium Chloride Moisture Vapor Emissions Testing Includes:
4 - 10 tests = $175.00 per test + mileage
11 - 20 tests = $150.00 per test + mileage
21 + tests = $125.00 per test + mileage

Full scope testing Includes:

Additional Costs:
  • If Wagner Rapid RH is requested, an extra $45.00 per site is required.
  • Travel beyond 200 miles from the nearest technician may be subjected to additional travel expenses.
  • If site demolition is required $25.00 per site will be charged.
  • If additional testing is required for a completed project, it will be subjected to additional cost/mileage.

Consultation

$600 minimum / $200 per hour & expenses + Mileage
  • Expert Witness, deposition, legal prep, research: $600 minimum / $300 per hour & expenses + Mileage

Testing

All laboratory testing and diagnostics is cost x 1.5%
